DJ console mk2 set up help

heres the deal, I havent used mixvibes in along time and i have a party to DJ in a few hours... I got a DJ console mk2 that Im trying to use with mixvibes 3dex 6.411, when i start the mixvibes program I get an error message that say's MIDI file config problem...when I go into options/MIDI I see my mk2 is enabled, but it isn't working. I get sound but no crossfader, or button control. can someone help me out asap? I hate using virtual DJ!!!

what is the correct mdi config file? if your talking about the options in the mixvibes program, it only shows one which is the hercules DJ console mk2 and it is enabled.

i dont have 3dex so may i am wrong.
but is there an option where you couldt select different MIDI mappings? just like the key board mapping tab?
is you MIDI driver correctly installed and working?

you find a MIDI config for your
mk2 in the download section of the forum.
put this file into your MIDI folder of mixvibes

perfact, it's working now!!! one last thing though, on the mk2 mixer the headphone selection button isn't working correctly. is there a way I can configure mixvibes for to fix this problem?

i also dont have a mk2 (i have two 1210 mk2 )
so please discribe your problem a little bit more.

When I select deck 1 or 2 on the mixer I don't hear nothing. When I select mix or split I hear music from both decks in the same headphone it doesn't split the music left/right

you have to tell mixvibes which channels to use.
this is done in the options "soundcard" tab.
there you chose 2 different outputs from your mk2
(your normal "main out" and your "headphone out")
and activated the monitor button on one of them.
if you dont know which soundcard output port is your
headphones, you must try some different configurations.
