Cross and creative sound blaster xfi platium fatality

:cool: :cool: to the point :eek: will upgradeing to Cross ,would i be able to use above mentioned sound card with Cross :eek: got info about asio 4all but leary with playing with drivers,,have many options to accomplish my meager mission :eek: :eek: postive yes or no,,,rember chrismas is comming ,, s c knows who has been naughty or nice :cool: :cool:

I don't see why it wouldn't work, the specifications on the site read:

ASIO 2.0 support: 16-bit/44.1kHz, 16-bit/48kHz, 24-bit/44.1kHz 24-bit/48kHz and 24-bit/96kHz with direct monitoring

I suggest you mess with the drivers and try out ASIO4ALL. Let's not forget that S.C. is also coming to town ;)

:cool: :cool: Good to HEAR :cool: Phaded to the rescue :cool: Went and looked at options ,, peeked at the Numark m1, also m1usb,, trying to figure which way to go :idea: :idea: upgrade to Cross $100,hopefully be able to use on computer and make myself avaible to furture updates :idea: :idea: find a mixer for 100 bones and plug up home with it :idea: go by the ion DJ MIDI and not be able to upgrade Cross later :eek: :idea: but before i move will go the asio route to see how it affects the usage of Cross demo, if works then will upgrade to Cross :cool: :cool: thanks for not being deaf to blind eyes :cool: :cool:

:cool: :cool: Got asio to install; shows all 8 outputs :cool: played around trying to get monitor to work right :evil: :evil: then relized that with only two inputs reconized that it wouldnt because the sound card doesnt see 4 seperate inputs to switch to the monitor section, may be i a wrong or missing something, i guess the useing muliti channell sound card means input and not the out put :cool: :cool: one less option :cool: thanks again (phaded ) nothing risked /nothing gained :cool:

Monitor is on the ouptuts, so you have a pair of output for main and another for monitor if you're mixing internal.

The inputs are only for timecode signal if you use turntables or cd decks.

:cool: :cool: tnks for reply :cool: have played around with it ie switching out put around, will keep trying :cool: now i didnt install rewire ? or the off line settings,,need to ?,,,,, :cool:

Too Bad there arent any fireworks smiley faces :lol: solved issues with getting Cross demo to play properly thru monitor :lol: using the output for rr & rl for monitor and needed to have out put 5 ,6 wired to monitor not 3 & 4 like i thought it would be, used the last tab,,alternate stero,, in the drop down,,probley 3 & 4 would be sr & sl :cool: :cool: all being said got it to monitor thru S C,,thanks gentelmen :cool: :cool: one less wish for chrismas :cool:

It's better to tune your Asio off line.
