problem _ u46 xl with mixvibes

Hi there.

First of all i would like to say that is my first post in forums lol

a newbie

My problem is i already have a esi u46 xl

and got a second hand mixvibes dvs7 with timecodes.

In theory my sound card must work with the DVS because the u46xl is the upper version of u46dj
but somehow i never ever could make my control signal accurate.

I tested Sound card & time code cds with deckadance and it works fine. So i assume nothing wrong with my setup -connections & hardware.

But somehow the timecode calibration never happens with mixvibes
i check the tutorials and want to ask if anyone ever tried to use this sound card

or has any kinda problem that i had.

I appriciate any kinda comment

You should register your second hand dvs7 before anything else.

I will when i get home but before that

if it still does not work; so i should send it back.

that means i shouldn`t register before i am absolutly sure about the setup
right????

the regeristraing your serial # is part of the process to obtain help and support from mixvibes fourm,part allows you to update the product( to use the latest version)other part is in my guess to not asist ver that are not leagaly gotten. mixvibes allows for proper transfer of licence key to let people transfer the product, i think at this point you need to contack n-deep to resolve this issue,you will see in this fourm other instances of this happening in the fourm good luck and welcome side note anybody seem my k button

I don`t want to violate the forum rules. don`t even know if it is registered to the previous owner or not.

I ll search it when i got out of work..

But as i search for the Xl i come across with german forum and it says u46xl should work ...

Any asio soundcard should work, it certainly the setup in the software that need some tweaking.

you're most probably using an obscelete MixVibes version; registering will allow you to download the latest update and make it easier for everyone to sort you out. There is no question that the U46XL works fine with MV

Thanks for your attention.

I downloaded Cross demo version and with same settings; now i can get the MIXVIBES time code vinyl working with U46XL. ( sound card software line in faders must be lovered in my case).

BUt still with the DVS old version i can not get a decent % health value.

I am going to stick with Cross one; no need to get an old one and makeing an upgrade. makes no sense at all right?

And one more question;
i want to know is if there is a pack bundle that has Cross SOFTWARE TIME CODE VINYLS WITH NO HARDWARE.

Or should i purchase vinyls & software separatly.
