Problems with connecting a turntable

Postby Pamishelis on 11 Dec 2009, 21:36

Heya.So the problem is that mixvibes doesn't recognize my turntable when i connect it to the 3/4channel slots.I mean i've tried everything.I have 2 identical Stanton St 150s, both plugged into the sound card, one in the 1/2 slot and the other in the 3/4.First i've thought that probably there's a problem with my 2nd turntable, then i've unplugged my first one and connected the 2nd one in the 1/2 slot, and it worked.Connected the 1st turntable with the 3/4 slot and nothing:/ i've tried recalibrating numerous times and still, mixvibes doesn't recognize the turntable which is connected to the 3/4 slot.Any suggestions?

Hi Pamishelis,

By any chance (if you're using the U46), is the 3/4 switch on something other than phono?

Can you post a config report?

looks like a driver problem. Publish a config report.

Sorry for the ridiculous question, but have you selected ASIO as the sound card communication method? Often on other modes the first two inputs are the only ones that will work.
