Vista or Windows 7

I want to purchase a new laptop. I am looking at aToshiba. I would like to know will Cross operate on Vista or Windows 7? Are there any complication with 64 bit or 32 bit Windows 7?

32bit and 64 bit are also supported

I would recommend Windows 7 stay away from vista but thats just my personal preferance

Windows 7 will be the route you wanna go, based on my own experience and feedback from other users. 32/64-bit is up to you, but I've noticed that the 64-bit OS works a bit faster (you'll just have to use the ASIO4ALL drivers with Cross).

It would be interesting to see how many people go from Vista to 7. I have Vista and I am certainly not going to upgrade to 7 for that price. Exactly how different is 7 to Vista? I've played with it on a friends netbook when it was in beta and it really didn't seem different. The price needs to drop a lot if I'm going to buy this.

I felt the same way initially, but when I finally bought it I was thoroughly satisfied with how it handled all of my audio programs.

I upgraded from Vista Home Premium (32bit) to Windows 7 Home Premium (32bit), on both my home PC and my gig laptop. I've been using it for about 3-4 weeks now and haven't had any problems.

I found that Windows 7 runs a lot more faster and smoother. I glad I upgraded.
