a bad mixer !! looking for a new one...

Postby polocorp on 18 Nov 2009, 18:11

i don't recommend this mixer : KORG KM202

Image

It looked cool with the integrated kaos pad, various EQ presets... but in reality the sound quality is real bad. it "swallows" all the dynamics of the tracks... I bought it and resold it within a few days through eBay....

I purchased it after i tested the KORG DJ ZERO4 :

I liked this one a lot. A little complicated in terms of knobs, but the sampler and FX are really impressive.

Looking for another mixer and am considering a DJM-600 (mor affordable and sturdier then the new DJMs o r the korg Zero4)

Any other advice in the 400e budget with FX implementation ?

and the Korg zero4 owns an integrated Firewire soundcard.

You can plug it directly to use MV without external soundcard

Behringer DDM 4000.

I'm seriously considering getting one, and just sold by DJM-600S to pay for it...

i would tell ya that it's one hell of a nice mixer, but who would believe me. Since most peeps think I work for them or something. i don't. I do think they're making nice gear that doesn't cost a fortune. This mixer is an example of that.
I guess it would be fair to describe it as an 05 with a sampler and FX. I was told it would cost around 450 us. but who knows.
