No and still don't know, build-up again at home in my studio and my soundcard works fine, controller workes fine, tried to open the mediabase and MV closes with an error.

Tried this mediabase on my normale computer and also MV crashes here again.

I think your vib file is corrupt, but I don't know why and how this happened. You should open and save a new vib file and work with this one if it works fine.

i think unfortunately Steve might be correct in this matter. I had mixvibes crash on me during the middle of a gig around 15 mnths ago, and it corrupted my Mediabase.vib, and i had to use my Ipod for the rest of the gig .. i could not restore the .vib file. Kept giving me an error.
Well now, Ive learnt to:
ALWAYS make 2 copies of your current media base collection to avoid this (i even store the 2nd on my external backup drive).
