i think unfortunately Steve might be correct in this matter. I had mixvibes crash on me during the middle of a gig around 15 mnths ago, and it corrupted my Mediabase.vib, and i had to use my Ipod for the rest of the gig

.. i could not restore the .vib file. Kept giving me an error.
Well now, Ive learnt to:
ALWAYS make 2 copies of your current media base collection to avoid this (i even store the 2nd on my external backup drive).
