*URGENT* MixVibes Hardware Help

Postby Rice on 31 Oct 2009, 08:48

Hello, I have just receved MixVibes U46MK2 Sound Card in the mail. I have been working on this for 4 hours but it just doesnt seem to work.
I installed the Driver from the CD that came with it, and I was trying to run the MixVibes Cross Demo, but I can't seem to get the timecodes to work.
I just seem to run into more and more trouble as time passes.
I have connected all of my cables as the instructions said.

Technics 1200 MK5->Input 1/2 (Im using Timecode Vinyls so on "Phono")
Output 1/2->Vestax PMC-05 Pro MKII Line 1
Output 3/4->Vestax PMC-05 Pro MKII Line 2
USB Cable Attached to PC Port.

Problem #1: MixVibes doesnt recognize the timecode vinyl.
Problem #2: Input 1/2 has huge sound/distortion like effect.
Problem #3: MixVibes only recognizes the timecode only if its on Input 3/4(Fails sometimes)
Problem #4: Very,Very Bad Latency.
Problem #5: The timecode loses its place.
And a few others. What should I do about this?

Hi Rice,

Make sure your driver is the current version from the downloads section (1.041). Another alternative would be ASIO4ALL.

I can't think of anything else for the moment, I (and I'm sure others) will get back to you soon.
