hi there, so is that monitoring limitation a serious story? I can't believe people dare to sell a software you can't use, it's a real entertainment !!!!

The problem is solved in version 7.218.

If you use an external mixer, than use the PFL of these external mixer:
- soundcard settings master 1 with output channels 3/4 (U46MKII) and monitor 2 with output channels 5/6.
- Player 2, activated headphone (button red)

This way works wright.
I agree, special outputs for every player is nicer.
My experience are, when you're running and you just need to reboot. You forget to activate the headset button of player 2.

I use the internal mixer, standalone laptop with 2 outputs' soundcard.

By the way no one confirmed if it's a software limitation or a bug. In the case of, I don't even understand such a limitation.

People say it's not expensive and thus you can't expect a lot.

first, 70€ is not nothing.
for 70€ you should at least be able to have a descent private use of it.
Headphones are a necessity to practice with 2 ears : one inside, the other outside the headphones. With mixvibes 7 home you can't.
if you want to play at home for a friends party, you can't.
With "mixvibes home 7", you can't.

Second, a lot of "not a lot of money" is not nothing for mixvibes. it's a waste in my particular case because I play with internal mixer.

It should just not be sold at all. Neither given for free with such a limitation. It deserves the constructor.

Plus, it can easily be overcomed with external mixer so it's completely unfair and useless. it just bothers half of the people.

By the way, are there any other limittions of this type, I mean is the licence valid to play in public places?

To Trisax

I use Home 7 for public use in combination with an external mixer.
So, i don't have many problems.
In your case, 3DEX (free use) can be an option. 3DEX is not to compare with Mixvibes Home. I think, for public use in combination with the internal mixer, Mixvibes DVS (not free) fits better. It's seems qua look and basic use Mixvibes Home, but more professional and options.

You get it Frans. Except that 3DEX is not free. :D
