Mixvibes DVS both inputs to one output

Postby Malkuso on 10 Sep 2009, 23:13

I have 2 problems with my newly installed Mixvibes DVS with MK2. First, I can't calibrate the vinyl records to mixvibes, second I can press play on both player 1 and 2 in the program but both players output comes through output 1.

DO anyone know how to solve this?

Best regards Markus

On the right hand side of your bypass button there is a field with a '1' inside. At the other deck there is the same field. If there is a '1' in you have to change this to '2' so the decks send their sound through different audio interface channels if this audio interface is installed correctly.

A plus,
Steve

hi, i'm new to this but i'm alot into computers... but this this is a nightmare.. this 1 or 2 button, doesn't work. i press it nothing happens it stays 1. both deks play into left chanell i just can't assign right deck to right chanell. every time i want to play i have to reinstall mixvibes and calibrate everything over and over again. + after first "next" button i get "u46 asio driver not present"
can anyone please help? i just don't get it...

Run the config wizard n select your options according to your setup... this will do all the leg work for you.

ok so i found selecting chanell options, damn what a bummer..
but i still dont get it why do i get no asio driver note
setting chanell options is at: options>soundcard>set number of outputs to 2 (mine was default 1)> then setup> assign to first chanell U46DJ 1 for left and U46DJ 2 for right, then under is a left (second chanell, set to U46DJ 3 for left and U46DJ 4 for right... now you can press the 1 or 2 chanell button\window...

but this note i dont get... + i would like to ask you how did you set 128 or 256 samples? i get lowest 480 or mid 512
tnx in advance for your help
