They all have their pros and cons and a lot of similarities as well as differences. If i may add, since Mixvibes DVS is in some ways related to Cross, i guess it fitting for the topic.

Recently i did a direct comparison between DVS 7 and Virtual DJ 6 using the u46mk2 sound card. I must say the most immediate thing i noticed, was the difference in sound quality.

Mixvibes sound was so rich and rounded, virtual DJ literally sounded flat and that mind you, was with the same sound card!

Sound quality is among my top reasons for sticking with Mixvibes. It has been documented that Cross has a new engine built from scratch so in all honesty it's safe to assume that it's superior.

I think, although i buy MixVibes Cross this Year, Virtual DJ has some nice Features which I realy miss...
Up to know my system always run perfektly with VDJ5. With version 6 i am able to use my DMX-Interface to controll my light-gear too.

With Cross i am not as happy as i expected. Afer several crashes i had to buy a new harddisk and install a clean windows..(i am not a friend of it, it feels so naked  ). Furthermore i miss the Effekts..(=> buy a Behringer DFX69)
My TimeCode quality is between 90-100% and not like in VDJ6 allways 100% :(

I can't say which i like more....

Is it fair to do this comment on a MixVibes' website?

Did you try the latest update? Our pro Djs use it live without any crash issue.

What's your point? Cross can run with a 65% quality minimum. A 100% continuous quality time code may be not as accurate as the Cross analysis.

He is only honest and this should be accepted. Furthermore he wants to suggest new features that can be implemented in updates or new version

As the uncle says: keep your mind open
