Producer .CDA playback Issue (New Computer)

Hey guys, I'm just making my way back to the forums after a 1yr hiatus.

I've got a new system running Vista Ultimate 64 and still no luck with .CDA playback -- meaning I can't play the CDs tracks threw MV without ripping to MP3 first.

I had this issue before with my old system, but we're talking brand new computer. I even tried a dual boot partition to run XP and still no luck.

I recall this bug having come about in version 6.2x... I'm not sure what version my ORIGINAL MV CD INSTALLER is, but I believe herein lies the problem. I'm running the latest Public Release as I've been locked out from the betatest forum (probably due to my 1yr hiatus).

If anyone knows of a solution or is experiencing the same problem -- can't play CDs from the MV Producer Interface... Please Respond.

u can't play any .cda ? might is mixvibes but.. can you play those .cda with the windows media player.. or winamp ? if nop then might some is wrong with the OS
