Hello everybody,
I am registered since a lot of month and tried and testet but I bought MixVibes only 2 month ago. I am using it at home and in the future for different parties. I am not only a bedroomer, further more an internet radio resident (
http://www.globalbeats.fm) and we arrange some parties in my area. Usually one or two a year but since my study is taken too much time there is only one a year :-(
In the past I started in 1998 with DJing on cheap turntables while I spun german trance and techno. In 2004 i opened my eyes for the digital world and bought 2 Pioneer CDJ 200 and spun benelux und uk trance which sounded better to me than the german trance at this time. In 2006 Ableton came up and a lot of DJs played their sets using this "new technology". So I wanted to try this one too and sold my cd players and bought a mac, a soundcard and a controller. The sound changed from trance to progressive house. Mixing with ableton brought so many possibilities that I was totally fascinated but after a time I was bored because all I did was turning some knobs and faders with different effects and loops.
I change my equipment again and all my friends said was that I am a strange guy

I sold everything again and invested the money in 2 Technics 1200 MK II and a new mixer. So I started to mix and pitch again with vinyl again as I did years before. After some weeks I was angry about my bought music that I could not play, so I wanted to do something against this. I had to decide between a cd player or systems like traktor scratch, serato or mixvibes. This was the time when I registered here

. After some sleepless nights I decided to buy a cd player (Denon DN-S 1000) and days later I was happy to mix with my mp3s. This happiness did not last long till I mentioned that the pitch resolution of 0,1% sometimes makes it hard to mix. I mixed more less with the cd player and the possibility to mix my mp3s was nearly gone.
Some weeks ago I thought: "Why don't you give digital solutions like Mixvibes a go?". This is why I read a lot in different forums and finally decided for mixvibes after I saw M-Rhode (hope the name is correct) mixing at the Musikmesse in frankfurt, germany. To me it seemed to be the most reliable system and this is why I bought it. I did not regret my step

. These days I am spinning something between techno, tech house or progressive house...
