Cross!

Postby Dj NB on 20 Jun 2009, 20:23

So, after fixing it I used it as much as possible coz I had exam week and bla bla bla...
...But actually you know that I am really in love with the DVS 7, which runs as ferrari ( :D :D :D :D :D ) and it is amazing, so I was and I will testing it coz I want to help make it BEST OF BESTEST ;) ;) ;) !!!! AH! Than the strangest thing happened! Today I was practising and while doing it I noticed that since I fixed my Cross I am not playing with the DVS for couple a weeks! I like Cross very much since than and because of its easy-to-use characteristics you just play, play and play with such a easiness that the session you started is like always on the beginning, just like you've started 2 secs ago! Amazing! Cross has such a stamina impact!!! Congratulations MixVibes team this thing is AWESOME!!!!

BUT, I still love my DVS and from today I am making schedule for using both programs. MAN I LOVE MIXVIBES BEST EVER!!!!

Config Report:
Johnny you were right man, you said that I will love Cross because of its responsiveness and stuff, congratz man you guess it again!!!

You're right mate....I think the biggest power of Cross is the easyness to use it...it's just like take out the vinyl from your bag, put it on and play..that's it...

i'm still not feeling Cross, i think its because i'm a longtime pro 6/priducer user... and maybe a bit stuck in my ways lol. but it is a good program, i've had it setup in the office and people are sayin that Cross looks better than Producer. but heay, everyone to their own.

I'm with you on this one ....I just love Producer to much to down-grade to Cross....but from what I'v seen from the Cross beta its coming along...

nice & stable...and eazy to set-up & use
in a years time Cross will be right up there with Producer
then I will think long & hard about up-grading to Cross

I don't really think that Cross is a down-grade of Producer...
I just only think are different, for sure Producer/dvs7 has a couple of feature in addition that will make Cross the the definitive mixing software, like vst, ora sample (subliminal message to the developer  ) but I think that the force of Cross is his easyness to use it, simple and clean interface, not so many options to lost into and so on, something that I haven't found in DVS7, so I think it's a step forward than DVS/Producer. I've also compared the scratch audio quality, same PC (macbook running boot osx and win xp via bootcamp, no emulation), same audio card (maya44USB), same audio files and the vinyl responsivness, the super-slow and the super-fast movement are better in Cross....to my ear, obviously, may be it's not really, but this is what I've heard.

Just leave time to time.
Engineers work on both sides (PC/mac) with more & more communications between them.
Cross is just on a first step after the fundamentals. Much more steps to climb before the soft get similar features than Mixvibes Pro.
New softs for PC only will be released as soon as we can. I can't shedule when but it's working hard on these subjects.
New softs mean new range of features & not only debug of the actual programs & for the first time since 2004 no free update like from mixvibes6 to mixvibes7.
