Hi all....
just a Quick Review on the Stanton scratchmaster v3 needles for timecode vinly
for the test I'm using my Pdx 2000 mk2 (st8 tone-arm ) & my Pdx 2300 mk2 pro ( j tone-arm )....it will be a M-447 VS Scratchmaster v3
The pack... what you get in the mp4 pac is 2 needles & cartridges pre wired on headshalls with 2g weights for scratching & 2 spear needles in a nice case

the case is clear so you can see if you have not forgot a spear needle...everything fix's nice and locks in so there is no movement
and even comes with needle gards...( but no needles brush )
setting them up... the pre-wired headshalls are to eazy to set-up , just screw them in and away you go
although I did spend about 5 to 7 minute on weight & balance to get it how I like it
Now for the test
on the pdx 2000...st8 arm
Time code vinly Quality at the beginning ( 97% )..middle ( 100% )...& the end ( 95% )
with no skip
on the pdx 2300...j-arm
time code vinly quality at the beginning ( 100% )..middle ( 100% ) and the end ( 100% )
with little skip right at the beginning
over-all as good as the m447 with less vinly wear
