DVS Pack MK2

Postby dgdg1979 on 24 Apr 2009, 10:23

Hi there,
I just got the DVS pack MK2, I have set up and can play vinyl, but even when I specify Equilisation bypass the crossfader is appearing in mixvibes and the only output of the U46MKII that is producing sound is output 1/2. Please help!
Cheers

hi DGDG 1979...welcome to the mixvibes Community

try a different skin.....go options / skin....find a skin that has no mixer
OR..in the downloads part off the forums is a page with skins & goodly
find a skin you like

for your sound only out-putting out off 1 & 2

Image
cheek your mixvibes skin...in each deck there is a little box with the number 1( thats the out-put number )...So for mixvibes deck two change the number from 1 to 2

Cheers Wazza,
I did boththings and it seemed to be working fine for a bit. I have another problem now though.

When I played through Mixvibes the first time the sound was all crackely, I did some reading and found that I needed to disable the computers sound card, I did this and it worked fine.
Then someone tried playing a something with Media player and ever sinse (even though the computers' sound card is disabled) the sound has been crackely in Mixvibes. Please help?

Cheers

Hi DG,

Could you post a config report for us?

(preferences > config report). make sure both needles are on the record and that your pitch is at 0.

good to hear you got it going

now..for your new problem...
window media player has no ASIO support
so when you opened media player it swiched the mixvibes u6dj sound card from Asio to core audio
the cracking you hear is latency from the core audio driver
you must use Asio driver

in mixvibes go option / sound card page /click on the Asio box ...
that will fix it
if not post a config report so we all can see your settings in mixvibes
