Hey you MV bros! I was asking myself the other day, can you make your MV system with U46 mkII to run better? Can you make it run below 64 samples(1.5 ms) latency or not so if this is possible than please tell me and tell me how coz i want to see that, and by the way now I run on 64 samples(1.5 ms) latency and it is perfect, but everytime when I start the program i must do a install wizard in order to get the program work properly coz without install wizard the sound makes psychedelic noises, so tell me about this too, PLEASE!!!!

Actually you can do it. You just need one thing... Buy the adaptor cord 9 volts 500 mA and your u46mkII will not run.. will fly.

Your install wizard problem is well known. I am not sure if you tried to mark the box "Save U46 MK II Settings" or something like that in your Audio Options of DVS? This solved my problem and till now I have not run the wizard. Answering your question I can only say that 1.5ms latency is amazing. I do not feel any difference to usual records so to me there is no need to go deeper. But engineers also what to go deeper, so expect that there will be an innovation in the future

Yes because when you use BUSS POWER ( usb ) the cable need space to send DATA and send ENERGY, when you give external power with the power cord, the USB ins 100% to send DATA then it's free to share it REALY FASTER comparised with busspowered mode.

Hey guys
I'm running the u46mk2 at 64 samples 2ms latency no power adapter. Didnt do anything special as far as the setup goes just selected 64 samples for both Cross and Producer no click or pops works great. the only thing i have done is make simple OS changes on the PC as you would for any DAW/DVS software Stopped all unrequired services, set system processor to back ground services.
NB have you possibles lost some ram in your system ie faulty module. not psychically lost of course
Producer 7.4, DVS 7.4, Cross 1.3.2, M-Audio Quattro, U46mk2, Evolution UC33, LaunchPad Technics 1200sl Mk2 , Rane Empath, DDM4000 Windows 7 (Abits Build v2)
