is there a 32 count loop in mixvibes DVS pro 7.2.1 ?(plus

so 2 nights ago i was giving mixvibes DVS pro 7.2.1 a test drive and wanted to do a 32 count loop and found there no button for that .

i know there the loop in and out but i never realy did like using it in any DVS .


also there is one thing that was bugging the hell out of me
do i have to press import iTunes ever time that i use mixvibes DVS pro 7.2.1

it seems to take a very long time to load on my main PC

here's the spec's for that

8 gb of 1000 mhz ram
intel e8400 (overclocked 3.6 ghz)
2 10,000 rpm raptors in raid 0
and 2 1tb hard drives in raid 1
hd 4870 1gb

in other words overkill in a case lol

those specs are nuts !!! Working on launching a space shuttle with that or what ?

Indeed you need to reload iTunes at every start-up. I guess it it takes a while to decode the iTunes database regardless of the specs. It's not really a native system so that probably generates some delay.

No button either for the 32-loop. I use 16x2 which is fine, but I'm sure someone around the forum can explain you how to make a mod on that and maybe can provide the proper skin as well.

keyboard button "3" makes 32 beat loop though it doesnt show on the display for looped/sent beats.. but it does work.

also there is no MIDI shortcut just now for direct to 32 beat loop, only I/O for set beat. you would have to use button "3" to active 32 beat loops.

my next build will kill my set up now with 6 gb of 2ghz ram and a nice i7 940
