video djs using 7.2

Whos out there thats a video DJ using 7.2?
List ya gear in ya system that allows you to mix videos and the gear to get you video signal to the inhouse tv monitors /projectors.

here is some pic of my video setup and some info on a new up-date that will be coming soon for mixvibes Producer







frist up you need good lap top with alot off RAM (2 gig or more )
the laptop needs to have a good video card ( 256 dedicated video memory....with S-video or VGA output )

you also need a MIDI controller or a MIDI mixer to use the crossfader in mixvibes , To crossfade the video together

if you take a close look at the pic''s ....you will see a little box next to my LCD .
That is a VGA video splitter box ( 150 MHz )....it lets me run the LCD for the video out-put window and two projectors / monitors


a new up-date will be available soon for mixvibes Producer user's for free

the mixvibes team has been hard at work ...with two fill time developers working on a new video engine

this up-date will include...
-LOGO & TEXT modules with transparency , text resizing & positioning , automitic scrolling

-New effects & transition which will be added up to the 22 presets

-4 decks video mixing & scratching at the same time with mixvibes time code vinly/C.D's and/or MIDI controllers

-Integrated Codec for better stability , speed , display quality & lower processor ressources

- The new video engine will be compatible with a lot of video formats & a lot of video recorders

I want to control 4 decks that the softwear allows me to operate. Video djing via video files. How would this be set up, what components will I need to achieve this application plan, I was looking @ having a laptop run the softwear, whats the way to set up the video out signal for the program out video image, for multi house monitor distribution, while being able to have a larger monitor for the djs to view instead of the paotop screen.

you are a lucky guy if you are getting these two controllers

the Stanton SCS 1M 4 channel MIDI mixer

is all you will need to do 4 deck video mixing when VFX2 is finished

as for your about setting up a out-put screen for the
DJ and 3 out-puts for the CLUB

this VGA splitter BOX has 1 VGA video input ( so you plug it to the VGA out-put on your laptop ) & it has 4 VGA videos out-puts ( 1 for the DJ to look at and 3 for the CLUBS PROJECTORS and / or BIG T.V's )
this little VGA spitter BOX amps the video signal .....so the VGA cable lenghts from the laptop to the VGA spitter box is 1.5 metre's
& from the VGA spitter box to the screen for the D.J and to the CLUB's Projectors and / or BIG T.V's is 150 metre's
