Help with MIDI settings

Hi,

I m using this config on my controller:
16 Knob B0 55 - B16 55
16 button B0 56 - B16 56

I m trying to set the effect 1 on player 1 (Here Reso)
I ve done with learning
Knob 1 : B0 55 / effectVol / (changed activeplayer to) Player 1 -> OK
Knob 2 : B1 55 / effslider / (changed activeplayer to) Player 1 (Here CutOff) -> OK
Knob 3 : B2 55 / effslider / (changed activeplayer to) Player 1 (Here sweep freq) -> NOK the knob 3 does the same things than knob 2.

Is the effslider the good parameter?
Is there any settings with this parameter to help knob 3 to attack effect data 2 (here sweep freq) ?
Any idea ?

Is the effslider the good parameter?

Yes.
See an example with the VCI:
Effect Parameter 1:
#b0 46 EFFSLIDER 1 0 0 0
Effect Parameter 2:
#b0 47 EFFSLIDER 1 0 0 1
Effect Parameter 3:
#b0 48 EFFSLIDER 1 0 0 2

*See the file attached to help you with all MIDI functions.

If it doesn't work (I can't remember if it is bug of the 7.1) try to update your version and use the version 7.21 RC2 (I'm sure it works in this version).

Here is another question about MIDI setting on reso effect player 1.

Now that i have downloaded the 7.2x, no more issue with vol,cutoff,sweep,q.

I wanted to set the effbeat by learning first:

Using a knob B9 55, nothing append.
Then i tried to edit it in the MIDI edition panel :
I ve put two line :
B9 55 3 / Effbeat / Player 1 / 0
B9 55 7 / Effbeat / Player 1 / 0.64

Turning the knob to 0 set the effbeat to none, but increasing the knob don t do anything.

Do i m doing something wrong ?

Also i have seen that in effect edit window, there is two parameter that we don t see in effect part linked to the player:

Lfo type
Speed

Is the effbeat linked to the parameter speed ?

I tried to learn these to parameter but the slider don t became gray.
It is possible to learn them ?

There is an active effect button on players, tried to learn it with a knob and or a button but nothing work.

I is possible to link it ?

Is your knob send control change value (from 0 to 127) or a MIDI note value (0 or 127)? Becasue the effbeat command only supports MIDI note value.

Yes you're right, both are time values. But speed is in ms and effbeat is in 'beat' (depends on the media BPM).

Do you plan to change the behavior, because it s strange to have all other control (regarding effect) in values and the beat in notes?

i ve set the knob to send a note on from 0-127 -> Not working.
i used my master keyboard to learn the effbeat -> Not working.
