Got my DVS 7 today and have been trying to run the program all evening to no avail. I installed DVS then the Maya 44 driver, the mixvibes icon then goes to my desktop but when I click on it nothing happens...If i try to click on it again, I get an error that says "A program instance already present". When I go to the task manager, I can see that the MixVibesDvs.exe process is running but nothing else is happening, just my normal desktop. The only thing I could think of is that the very first time I tried to install DVS, I immediately attempted to optimize my XP settings (using this guide: viewtopic.php?f=207&t=11532 from the forums) and when I finished optimizing, I restarted my computer without activating the program online. I dont know if this would cause a problem but I haven't gotten DVS to run....I changed my XP settings back to the pre-optimized settings, I tried to un-install and re-install the program numerous times, but still cannot get DVS to run. I'm using a Systemax Tiger with a 1.5GHz AMD Athlon XP with 1GB of RAM and plenty of Hard Drive space. Can anyone help a brother out???? I wanna play!!

you should check the install on another computer to make sure your CD is ok. Have you updated ? Make sure you install updates to a separate folder to avoid conflicts. this might be the issue.
XP SP2 is recommended. Ideally you should install a MixVibes dedicated Windows XP SP2 on another partition of your HD

well it's a bit of a hassle to be franc... if you are using a laptop this means you need to reset your computer, format the hard drive an then divided it into 2 partitions. One for your internet and other applications and one just for mixvibes. You'll need to save your personnal and media files on an external HD first. You can then use the Win XP install CD to format and partition your hard drive.
On my laptop for example, I have a 160 gig HD, I partitioned it into 155/5. My main HD is for all my apps, i store my music and videos on this one. The 5 gig HD is just for Win XP + Mixvibes. When I boot my computer I can choose which partition to load.
If you are using a desktop you can just add a hard drive and install windows to it.

Your serial is working ok. Maybe refresh your brownser page with F5 or use an another brownser to stop some possible cache problems. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD DVS7

Cool, I was able to download so I did and tried to run it again. This time when I clicked on the icon, my screen blanked for a second and when it came up, the screen resolution had changed from to 640X380 and nothing else. The task manager shows that mixvibesdvs.exe using ~70 CPU and ~18,54k of memory usage but nothing loads....I can't figure it out!! If I use the task manager to end the process, the process ends and my screen goes back to normal...What the deal. AlsomIf I use the install disc on a friends computer to see if it works on another computer, will I be able to use the installation on my computer?? What to do?
