upgrade mixvibes 6 home to 7 home

Postby mankiewd on 27 Aug 2008, 08:18

Hi,
In the earlier version of the Mixvibes website there was stated that mixvibes home 6 users could have a free upgrade to home 7. Now here's my question: where and how can I upgrade my home 6 version?
bye for now

Hi N-deep,
Thanks for your reply and help.
I clicked on the link you gave me, and downloaded the update.
But on the former mixvibes website, they stated there would be a free 'upgrade' to the home 7 edition, and I can't seem to find it, if it exists?
Thanks again,

The version 7 edition is not yet available. It will be in the next few days or weeks at the latest.

  Some body will correct me if i am wrong,go to the download /update section or maybe to the home page under the heading of release candidate progam.Ithink that under the conditions that you are registered and loged in,,, you should be able to scroll to the section that you want /applies for your need , when you get to the download page at the bottom there should be a down load button,,,your comp should download it as a zipped file, at that point its stored on your comp, go to the location that the file was stored at and unzipp it (this is where i had the most problems) vista has security block on certain asspects. if you comp will not un zip it then open the properties tab (right click on file , click on properties and look for the security block0,,un block the file and try to un zipit,it will put in a folder /file(mine labeled it unzipped) openthat file the look and hit the installfile .exc
