I have found serial keys by brute force in the past but i have never heard of finding the actual key before...

You must either send proof of purchase to N-Deep and/or the time of first activation with the full name and e-mail used.

Only other way round it is to buy another copy of DVS 7.

Regards,
Bryan

Wait a minute... Why can't another serial be produced? If he is installing it on the same laptop, the challenge code will be the same, right? I've done more than one complete re-install of XP on my laptop, and the challenge code (and therefore the serial number provided by Mixvibes Admin) has always remained the same.

Luckily for me I kept a copy of the original e-mail and even printed it out and keep it with my DVS box...

Surely Mixvibes will have a record of his original request. If they can confirm that the challenge code is the same now as it was then, it will be clear that he is entitled to another serial (which should be the same as the one he was originally provided with anyway).

Obviously we don't want people trying to sneak a license out of Mixvibes - but making the guy buy it again to install on the same machine is crazy.

If Mixvibes have elements to retreive the code it does... if not, it can't.
If the code is registred on the forum it's easy, if the code isn't there & if the software hasn't been activated Mixvibes can do nothing, Mixvibes never give new serial.
Do you think any software does what you ask?

that's it!
