Mixvibes doesn't work after Restart

Hi!

I have a problem with my Mixvibes. I've bought it a week ago and it doesn't work correctly.

If I install and configure it, it works perfectly, but when I close Mixvibes and open it again, it doesn't work anyway.

I made some screenshots of my settings:

after that i saved the mediabase, closed the programm, opened it again and then i wanted to open the mediabase, but an error occured:


the main problem is, that it works perfectly after i've installed it, but when i open it again, it doesn't work...
do have any idea?

If you mean you can open it once every time you load your computer I would recommend trying to close all processes in the process tree through Task manager. (Ctrl Alt Del)

If you mean per installation, I would bet on it you have a bad installation which means you will have to clear your registry of the MixVibes installation in order for it to work correctly again.

mmh... it's the following problem:

everytime install the mixvibes programm and the U46MK2 driver it wokrs perfectly... then i close the programm (or reboot the computer) and open mixvibes again and nothings works...
i've optimized my windows xp already....

why does it work everytime it's newly installed (or uninstall and install again) and then after a reboot oder close and open-action it doesn't work?

Hi beckspin,

What process have you used to optimise your windows installation? You may have disabled something that is preventing mixvibes from writing your configuration, thus reverting back to default when you load it again. Do you have the same problem when windows is not optimised?

Can you give us more information on your xp install, such as build number, service pack, up to date with windows updates and how you acquired it?
Also what update version of mixvibes you are using.

Hi all,

I have a simular problem with DVS 7. When i start mixvibes 7 and run the installation wizard, everything works perfectly. When i close mixvibes and restart again the mixvibes software, then it doesn't work anymore. I must always run the setup first. It runs on a macbook with bootcamp and xp pro and i use it with the timecode cds.

that's the same problem i have laurens...
after every startup, i have to run the installation wizard...

i have win xp sp 2... i've disabled automatic update, i've put the windows design to "performance", i've disabled the windows firewall...

i use mixvibes 7.1 with the U46MK2-driver

whitch version of the U46MKII driver?

have you visited the download center and downloaded the latest version?

if so, do you still have the original driver that came with the U46MKII?

i used the U46MK2 driver that comes with the mixvibes DVS 7.1 update

so it's the 1.0.35
