I use one turntable with my VCI-100 CONTROLLER

I use Rel time....when you use REL TIME you have to click the play button on the mixvibes skin [ use the mixvibes key-board short-cut )...with REL TIME you can use CUE's & LOOP's with Time code vinly

To set up one turntable in mixvibes ...Go Options / Vinly-C.D input box / Advanced box [down the bottom of the page ] / one active turntable box

there are 3 ways you can use one turntable with mixvibes...
1)...you can control deck "A" or deck "B" in mixvibes [active deck] with the TAB key on your Computer key-board

2)...if you like to scratch say with your right or left hand you can drag & drop the track thats playing in one deck to the other deck
and it will keep playing in real-time

3)...you can use the Cloning Feature ( instant doubles )
hold down the Ctrl key on your computer key-board and drag & drop the track that's playing in one deck to clon to the other deck
Now you can do a juggle trick or a turntable brake and cut the same track back in..
(mixvibes 7.2 has a new skin that has a clon button)

hope some off this info help's....WAZZA

Absolute,
in this mode the song it tracked by the timecode only, no loops are possible because Mixvibes will play the song determined by the position of the timecode. Changing the position of the timecode by moving the needle (needle drop) or using the forward/back/cue buttons on your cd player will alter the position of the song in the player.

Relative Time,
This mode tracks the song by its immediate position on the timecode, it is possible to loop in this mode as well as needle drop and the use of forward/back/cue buttons however altering the timecode position using needle drop and forward/back/cue buttons is only possible out of loop.

All Relative,
this mode tracks the movement of the vinyl/cd only, loops are possible in this mode however no other needle drop, forward/back/cue functions are possible.

I hope this helps you,
regards,
Bryan

In regards to gakto2009's post,

you can scratch in absolute, but you have to be mindful of how you scratch when in that mode cause if the needle jumps the sound will jump as well.

The clone button sounds VERY cool!!! Which skin has it, and is the Clone button MIDI mappable? (This would ssolve A LOT of problems for me!)

Damn. So the only way to clone track to the other player is with the mouse?

Weak...

Even a key shortcut would be preferable to that. At least then I could MIDI map a pad to it using Bomes MIDI Translator.

[PS- What's with the lol, Gakto? Do you wallow in my dispair??? ]
