[solved]problems, ASIO, callibration

i have had mixvibes now for a couple of week s and still have not been able to use it. the 1st problem with the callibration. deck 1 would not callibrate. but as i went to try and sort it out. in the install wizard it was saying the ASIO isnt presesent. so i have uninstalled everything and then tryed reinstalling and now nothing appears when i connect U46 into the laptop. dont no whats going on. did i pay all this money just to keep getting fustrated. can any1 help?

Did you install the U46MK2 ASIO driver?

i did the 1st time but when i was having problems with the calibration i uninstalled everything and now when i reinstall it, sometimes when i connect the U46 via the USB it recognises it and says it has properly installed and then doesnt appear when i go through the install wizard. and sometimes when i plug the usb in it doesnt recognise it. also the mixvibes logo doesnt come up in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

What driver version are you talking about? You need to install version 1.0.39 or 1.0.41 to get it work perfectly.

make sure you always use the same USB port as during the installation.

when i try and install the U46 half way through it says theres a problem and says it will notify when solved. and the mixvibes icon dissapeared how do i manually install the soundcard?

and how do i no what the driver is?

fully uninstall the drivers & reload them
drivers should be version 1.041 on download here. [PC] [WIN XP,VISTA32bit] U46MK2 v1.041

Wait to plug the sound card for the panel asking you to do it when you install the drivers.

cheers i have sorted out the soundcard problem and an biw back to the original problem that i can not work out. when i go through the install waizard, when i get to the calibration part it says that turntable 1 is not callibrating succesfully, where as turntable 2 calibrates fine. the needles and the vinyl are fine. how can i get turntable 1 to calibrate so i can start mixing?

Write a value of 4db on both preamp instead of -3db & +7db. Click on apply. What happens do you get a better code reception & some scratch feeling in absolute mode?

i think i have sorted out the callibration now, il keep u informed. one more thing, i cant get the tool bar at the top of the mixvibes page to appear. anyone know how i can make it appear?
