Can someone explain me the following situation:
I use the Mixevibes Home Edition in combination with the U46MK2 and external mixer. Player 1, soundcard master and player 2 soundcard monitor. So, on player 2 is the button headphone actived. Sometimes when i put al song in player 1, then the song is hear by the output of player 2 (there's no noise hear by output 1). I can see on the main volume rack, that output goes out by output 2 (right output). I descibe some situations. 1; At the moment, when player 1 goes out by output 2 (in my eyes, the wrong output), then I see in the Mediabase, clicking on the song option 'Edit infos..', option 'Media' the info by out is 2. 2; At the moment, when player 1 goes out by output 2, and i activate the headphone option of player 1 and directly deactive it, then the output is OK. By info Media the OUT is switched from 2 to 1.
I can simulate the switching as follow: - before put song A in player 2 (Media info OUT is 1) - put a song A on player 2 (Media info OUT is 2) - before put song B in player 2 (Media info OUT is 1) - put a song B on player 2 (Media info OUT is 2) - put song A on player 1 (Media info OUT is 2) - activate the headphone option player 1 (Media info OUT is 1)
Can someone explain me what is the function of this feature and how can I use the Home Edition player 1 and player 2 with seperated outputs.
Thnx

If you set the audio options as in the picture below: Master is out 1. Monitor is output 2. Actually if the headphone button is off, the player go throw output 1 and if headphone button is on, the player go throw output 2.
If you prefer to use the monitor of your output mixer, set player 1 to master (headphone button off) and player 2 to monitor (headphone button on). So player 1 go to ouptut 1 then to a channel of your external mixer and player 2 go to output 2 then to another channel of your external mixer. And you use the monitor of your external mixer.

Thanks DJegun for your reaction, your discription is also what i did, and normaly works right. The problem is the moment that the song first was played in player 2 (output 2 in combination with headphone ON, so the song is linked in MEDIA to OUT 2) and than the same song (later) load in player 1. The moment that it is loaded in player 1 (without the headphone is ON), the info in Media is still OUT 2, I press start, than the output is still 2 (media is also OUT 2). After tip the headphone on player 1 ON and directly OFF, than the output is switched right (media OUT is 1). I think, when the song was linked to player 2 and than is loaded in player 1, that it's not direct automaticly switched to OUT 1, but after a manual hint (in this case, put the headphone from player 1 ON/OFF). I hope that the information is clear.

Hi, What software version do you use? Can you fill in your profile ( ucp.php?i=169) with your serial number?

Hi all,
If you ask me, all this talk about not being able to hear the master and monitor simultaneously is a load of you know what! How could the vendor produce a tool like this? What is the point of even allowing more then one output? Is there anyway that I could either get refunded for my original purchase, or at least apply the payment towards the DVS or Cross versions?
Thanks for your help, Nic.
