Thoughts: Overall, this is a very handy little series that has a surprisingly quality build and feel for the price. No need for install CDs, these controllers are all plug & play, but you can download the editors if you'd like to further adjust your settings. Integration with MixVibes is really easy. They're ideal for DJ usage and even at home production use if you're looking for
very affordable MIDI solutions.
No complaints at all on the nanoPAD, it's really fun to play with even if you can't make beats. The pads and X-Y section have the same feel as the padKONTROL. Easy way to control the sampler or loops.
The nanoKONTROL has a lot of features in such a small space but the layout is still straightforward and easy to use. I mapped it to the effects/eq sections and it's very convenient if you're using Home 7 or internal mode on any other version of MV.
My only concern towards the feel of the nanoKEY are the keys; they feel like longer laptop keys but have proven themselves quite sturdy after the abuse I've put them through. I used mine to control loops and cue points, but can be easily mapped to whatever your heart desires.
