I know it can be frustrating for a first timer when it comes to set it up.........just take your time
we are all here to help if you need it...

OK...back on topic
the config report that you posted was good
your latency=6....is good...a little low for a maya 44 sound card
(if you have your latency to low you will get pops & clicks in your audio )...but if your latency at 6 ms works good with no pops & clicks...keep it at 6
and mixvibes see both in-puts & out-puts on 2 channels on your maya 44 sound card....which is also good

better than some of the config reports I have seen

just next time you do a config report.....play the time code C.D in the C.D players at the same time you do the config report

did you use the install wizard in mixvibes to do the calibration set-up
to use the mixvibes install wizard...go PERFERENCES / INSTALL WIZARD.....The install wizard will do the setup for you

ok now everytime i change the configiration report settings..such as i manually changed the timecode setting to 90 and when i was done and saved it..and went back to 0 next time i opened the configuration report up..this is killing me..and when i finally get the track to start off normally when i start to scratch the track reverses and plays very slow and skips and stuff...

Ok ...lets start right at the beginning....
1]....after you have done the mixvibes installation and put your serial number in your user control panel ( profile page )
in your profile page thears a box under where you put the serial number called hardware....can you please put some info about your set-up in the box [your laptop specification , your sound card , the make & model of your C.D players , mixer , MIDI controller and any other info you might think we will need to help you set it up ]

2]...go to the mixvibes download page in the forum....and download the new up-date for mixvibes [ 7.1 ]....you can give RC 7.2 a go aswell if you like .....you can download the new driver for your MAYA 44 from the mixvibes download page aswell
Remember...to un-install the old Maya drivers before installing the new drivers....if you don't you get a driver conflict

3]...make settings for background processing
go [Windows START ]./.[ CONTROL PANEL ]../..[PERFORMANCE & MAINTENANCE ]../..[SYSTEM ]../..[ADVANCED]../..in the performance box click [SETTINGS]../..[ADVANCED]../...in the processor scheduling box click ..[BACKGROUND SERVICES]../..[OK]

4]...Go to your MAYA 44 sound card control panel and mute the in-puts ...if you don't you will here the sound off the time code through
the out-puts....set the volume faders for the inputs & outputs...and set the latency {your latency from your config report looks good }

5]...now hook up your C.D Players RCA out-puts to your maya sound card RCA inputs...And the maya sound card RCA outputs to the RCA line inputs on your mixer (not the phono inputs )

6]...now in mixvibes do the install wizard
there is 10 steps to the install wizard...
step 1:...choose your skin..
step 2:...choose your prefered audio mode...{ click the ASIO tab }
step 3:...choose your sound card...{ your MAYA 44 )
step 4:...choose your sound card inputs for C.D Players on two channels
step 5:...calibration vinly thats connected to input one...{vinly , time code C.D's or nothing
step 6:...this {step} page will let you know if your having trouble with calibration on input one
step 7:...same as step 5 ...but for calibration off input two
step 8:...same as step 6 ...but for input two
step 9:...this {step} page will let you know if the calibration for both deck is ok
step 10:...optimize mixvibes

7]...if your still having trouble after the install wizard.
go [OPTIONS]../..[SOUND CARD]../..click on the ASIO BOX
In the output device box ...find your maya sound card
in the output number box set to 2 outputs

8]:...now go [OPTIONS]../..[VINLY/C.D INPUTS]...To see if the time code is being read by mixvibes ...{ you will see a white & a red wave line in the big black box....you can also check the time code quality from there

hope some off this info helps....WAZZA

you can't EDIT the config report {Change time-code quality}
the config report is just a overview off your setting in mixvibes
it has nothing to do with set it up... its just a way for the mixvibes support team and helpful users [ like me ] to look into your setting
in mixvibes to find where you might be having problams

I don't know much about your Gemini CFX-40 C.D players
have never try'ed mixvibes on the Gemini cfx-40's
.... it sounds like to me that you have your cfx-40 on pitch bend mode and not in scratch mode
I know some D.J-C.D Players like the DENON have JOG , PITCH BEND & SCRATCH mode

Does your Gemini C.D players have a scratch mode...?????
