buy DVS 7 or wait till Cross is available?

Postby skandal on 28 Dec 2008, 16:38

hi

i ordered the timecoded vynils.
i tried the virtual DJ/U46MK2 but it failed.

now i wanted to buy the software online.
should i wait to buy the vynil version of Cross?
if I buy the DVS 7 now, will I get an update of Cross vynil?

otherwise I hang in there and wait on the release of Cross.

Tnx

hay there skandal...welcome to mixvibes forums

Cross vinly software will be available soon
its in beta now....and from what I''v seen/tested its very good
don't confuse a up-grade with a up-date
all up-dates are free for mixvibes....but you have to pay for up-grades

if you get DVS 7 now you will have to pay for the up-grade to Cross
good news for you is the mixvibes DVS V2/V2B Vinly will work with DVS 7 software and Cross vinly up-date

If you buy Cross online now, you will get the launching price about 50% off & access to all updates to Cross full features.
Isn't it a good offer?
But Hurry up, this for the next 15 days.

Then just buy mv vinyl V2

luckily I have the vinyl V2 already!

So If i buy the DVS 7 now, and buy the upGRADE to Cross vinyl when it's released, will that upgrade be cheaper than the full price of the program?

Otherwise I prefer to buy the Cross and wait in vain for the upDATE.

Is there a possibility to test the beta also?
I've been experimenting with combinations of mixvibes, Numark, virtual-dj...So i'm already quite familiar with the difficulties and the needed settings.

Maybe I can even review it in some way?

I think it will be better for you to get Cross now at the low lauch price ...before the price go's up...and wait for the free up-date to Cross vinly
than it would to buy DVS V2...AND THEN PAY FOR A UP-GRADE

As for testing the beta for Cross VINLY
This beta is not even available to the mixvibes users
as a public beta yet

only for the ALPHA BETA TESTERS
I'm not a MOD ....So I can't say to much about THE BETA or give you ACCESS to it

So I think your out of luck on testing the beta my friend

sounds reasonable...

I'm still playing regular vinyl, but I'm converting all songs one by one.
it might be even possible to prepare everything with the current Cross version (make playlists, arrange mp3's, analyse the songs...)

yet anther small last question:

Is there already a releasedate for Cross vinyl?

what software are you using to convert your vinly to MP3
you should look at mixvibes vinly ripper
http://www.mixvibes.com/site/pageeng/page.php?x=mv7ripper

give the mixvibes vinly ripper demo a go and let as know what you think
http://www.mixvibes.com/site/pageeng/page.php?x=demos

as for a release-date for Cross VINLY....all I can say is SOON
I know its not what you wanted to hear...
