i never said it was easy to find bugs. i was beta tester in 2007, and i didn't find any but i knew they existed.

as a matter of fact, the only time mixvibes seem to run perfectly (from my experiences) is with Troubl's set up at NAMM.

i agree. i want to see mixvibes succeed because i know it has the potential to here in the serato dominated US. of course serato is not perfect either, but i have never had a crash due to updated release.

don't need to mention that the mixvibes team has my utmost respect. i like the new look and the clone feature i suggested a while back.

Now, i have bought a new mac and have serious distortions and crashs : i am using iTunes with serato 1.8.2

i also have a new mac and serato 1.8.2 works perfectly, with iTunes. i have no problem with playing in front of 1 or 1000 people.

on my PC (only 1.8ghz and 512 ram) serato 1.8.0 worked perfectly, no clips, no distortion. but same PC with mixvibes +U46mk2, i have to use over 5ms and there is still some static. i even upgraded to 1gb ram and there was still static so i could not gig with it. i am soon to test same PC with FA101...

We at MixVibes don't appreciate backstabbing from people we have been especially generous to

it's kinda lame of you to come here compare your performances with a crappy PC+ MV and a Mac book PRO+ SSL and then tell us it's Serato that makes the difference. If you had any remote idea of what betatesting is about you wouldn't have posted. Do you really expect the same latency/feel with both machines ?

Knowing you well, I'm quite suprised by this message... what is this all about ??? Serato super stable ? ok, fine. I heard Netik crashed recently with SSL infront of hundreds of people. My friend Cities actually had his SL1 box melt at the REX club in Paris causing the system to be permenantly out of order. There are hundreds of other examples. Serato is fine but It's just a software and has bugs too...

Anyways, don't get me started on the whole SSL/mixvibes thing, not on our forum. The aim here is to collect feedback and provide a fix in the best delays not promote a competitor and you should respect that

what is wrong here???? Few days ago I had to reinstal my windows OS....ive instaled mixvibes but the 7.010 version since it was with the DVS pack and guess what it didnt work very good so I got here to download the latest 7.2 but that doenst work either...this is really sad because on friday im of to a party and there is no working update on this site..... so please people anybody who has the 7.1. update Im on my knees please post it somehow thank you fellow djs

actually 7.2 should work. the bug does not stop you from installing and running everything fine. If you are having an issue with both versions you probably have another issue... Especially if MixVibes worked fine before you reinstalled

hey polocorp....first nice of you for defendig mixvibes angainst serato....its just a soft. too so i see no point that serato should win in any way.... Now to the problem....Ive downloaded 7.2. and as you said the bug doesnt stop me from instaling, thats true but its not working very fine and the BIGGEST i repeat the BIGGEST problem was that ive created mediabase got the bmp of all songs saved it and other day when i wanted to spin for few minutes i was not able to open the media base MV wrote to me some error and crashed to windows....so i downgraded to MV 7.1. and everything works fine....I HOPE it WONT be in 7.2. and that ill be ABLE to OPEN media base ....oh by the way by OS i meant operating system i had XP but i got some freaky virus so i reinstaled but i still have XP operating sys. and yes MV worked fine before reinstaling but i was using the 7.1. Ive dicovered 7.2 few days after new windows

okay i'll look into this medibase issue. thanks for reporting; we hoep to deliver a 7.2 fix very fast which will be our best release yet
