u46 MK2 - Is there a reason to download the updated driver?

I use an old driver (1.0.28) for my U46 MK2 soundcard, and I use VirtualDJ on WinXP Pro.

My soundcard will only work on one specific USB port, but that's no big deal. Is there any reason I should update the driver if it works fine otherwise?
