VCI-100 upgraded - less ability to backspin in MVP7

Postby bzbatl on 15 Nov 2008, 04:55

I just upgraded my VCI-100 firmware to 1.2 and now I have no ability to do a back spin. Spinning the platters quickly simply moves the track as if I were doing a baby scratch (back fairly slowly)

Any ideas? I updated the MIDI file to the 1.2 one available in the downloads section.

Minor update, I've now tried this on two separate computers, and the same exact issue is occurring. I have multiple issues at this point:

1. Scratching is almost impossible, the jog wheels simply do not move the track much.

2. Backspins are completely impossible, no matter how fast I spin the wheels.

3. With vinyl mode off, the jog wheels jump around instead of smoothing moving through the track. Makes it hard to fine adjust cue points.

Is this just an issue with *my* upgrade? It seems to be sending the proper MIDI codes...

I'm using the 1.2 MIDI file from the downloads area.
