Postby proalless on 27 Oct 2008, 12:59

my first play with DVS mk2 with 2 cds (cdj200) and a mixer (djm500)
i can control my mix with decks only in absolute mode
and master tempo not works(i know that) but i want this setting

my settings in decks is auto cue off master tempo off
my settings in mvs is vinyl (only when is on i have sound)
when i m going in another setting rel or all real
i can control the mvs from decks and the sound is unstable

i want to know the best settings for DVS to play and control
from decks and mixer with master tempo works from software

mvs version is 7.1 and driver 1.039
is it bug or it is some settings have to do for better performance
my laptop run win xp pro sp3

Hey,

so what exactly is your problem ? That you can`t the build in MasterTempo of your CD Players ? Well there`s nothing you can do against it, you have to use the Software`s Mastertempo feature.

This is cause there`s only a timecode signal on the CDs.

hi proalless, welcome on the forum. the best control mode is absolut mode for CD decks (it allows CUE points). The master tempo is being improved in the next update. you should mix without in the mean time.

Can you try to send us a configuration report in relative mode? Do not forget to play 1st CD track.

i edited my previous post, best mode is still absolut after extensive testing. The master tempo will be implemented in the next update.

the pitch movements are 'normal'. they don't mean your pitch is unstable, they just correspond to micro movements of your deck. Your pitch should still be stable in the mix :D
