tags lost after a crash

Postby richjoh on 27 Oct 2008, 00:05

if i edit tags (specifically bpm) and while working a mix say MV crashes, the bpm tags that I edited are lost....

I thought once I go through the pain of editing the bpm and hitting Alt+M S S {Enter} the tags is saved..... apparently NOT so. Maybe the TAG is written but the file these files arent saved and should a crash occur whammm... I have to go back and redo all those lost tag. I'm using MV Pro6 version 6.394

please use the last versions, reports on previous versions doesn't mean anything if the problems are solved...

I'll use MV7 when I get a similiar skin (like Pro6 orangeskin.ini) that works. Using Pro7 skins at this time is counter intuitive for me.

The crash is from using a whacking laptop mouse I keep in my closet. It has a very fast double click... and now giving it a fix (I just cut the cord on it!!!).

You can also get funky things happening (with any App) if your using a wireless mouse! A wireless mouse will get a corrupt bit or bytes over-the-air and your mouse crapps out for a half a second...I have one of those Logitech wireless laser mouse...

I just order a second Microsoft Laser mouse 6000 to add to my collection. For some reason, only Micro$oft mouse works well with the monolopy innovated OS. $30.00 more US dollars in Bill Gates ass.
