Volume problem with Producer 7.1 Final

Postby Macgyver on 23 Oct 2008, 14:43

I have notice yet another problem within this final release of Producer concernig the volume level.

MIDI Mode
While using the VCI-100

This also happened before in previous versions of DVS Pro 6 but I beleive it was eventually corrected.

Every time a new song is loaded into a player, the volume defaults to the maximum volume level. The software is not holding the last known position of the VCI volume fader in memory. If I move the volume fader on the VCI only then does the volume adjust accordingly after loading in the new song.

Very annoying problem, especially if you are trying to make a recorded mix.

Hopefully the new update is on the way and will be here sooner rather than later.

Honestly i have to say, I'm sticking with Mixvibes but I can't help but wonder if it's the right thing to do everytime a silly thing like this comes up on more than one occasion. I kind of feel like a permanent BETA tester. As a metter of fact, leave me the link to be on the BETA testing team.

I've yet to use Producer in a live setting. For any live settings I use DVS Pro 6.411

okay messed around with a few skins, and encountered different problems... one skin kept resetting the pitch to zero when you changed tracks. Another had the same volume problem. Finally found one that worked... It's the orange one & has all volume and Cross fader controls in between the 2 decks.

Glad that I was able to get around that volume problem.

Haven't added those lines of code to anything though.

Thanks again... I appreciate it.
