On some skins Producer shows a mixer with tone controls. Well move a tone control around then double click to return to zero, the control goes to MAXIMUM!
I really like the default MV Pro6 skin. Can this be used with Producer??? I don't want a full mixer on the skin, I just need the kill switches and tone controls (but tone controls that snap back to zero when I double click, like it in is MV Pro6).
UPdate.... Nope can't use the old MVPro6 skin in Producer. CAN WE BRING THIS SKIN BACK INTO LIFE the skin is named "Mv6skin Orange.ini". Personally this is your best skin for DJing. It does NOT waste alot of pixels on fancy bells and whistles. I have an excellent view of my Media base with font normal set to 9, instead of 8. The turntables are the perfect size for observing the mix. I would like to add the feature of indicating (with color) that song is loaded on the turntable (like in version MVPro6 6.411) and make the color persist. If I can choose my color well even better. Sticky with MVPro6 version 6.394 for my parties till a decent skin appears and bug fixes.

Me too, but this type of full mixer is perfect if you use a DJ MIDI controler & only 2 decks. UPdate.... Nope can't use the old MVPro6 skin in Producer.
Yes you can, what happen when you launch this skin? Do you crash? It shouldn't! Mv6/Mv7 skins are compatible but of course the new functions of Mv7 won't appear! Sticky with MVPro6 version 6.394 for my parties till a decent skin appears and bug fixes.
Well move a tone control around then double click to return to zero, the control goes to MAXIMUM! many bugs already found, some by you...I use myself with version 7 the "old" pro6 orange skin. It's possible to change the skin for the new sampler or to add or remove any function button. Just have a look on your skin ini file, it isn't too hard to understand but I agree it's just a little boring. Compare it with the new mv7 skin files & if any questions use the forum!

I took a look at MV7 ini file, yes I see you can position button, set fonts and colors etc. I load "Pro6skin orange" into MV7 and the turntables don't show up. Thus making the skin unusable in my case. Do you have ini of Pro6 orange to share for use in MV Producer that I could use it. A search of skins on the forum turned up zero.

OK, the old skin no longer works in Pro6. Can some take time to modify the skin to make it work or create a ver 7 compatible skin...
