DJ controller and mixvibes Cross

Hi ,

If i understood well you see the controler device under windows but not in mixvibes ?

If yes , do you have a logitech webcam ?
- If yes , you need to delete some key in your windows registry

- - do like this :

- - open Registry editor (start menu > run > regedit > ok) ;
Go to the key :

Code: Select all

HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlset/Control/Class/{6BDD1FC6-810F-11DO-BEC7-08002BE2092F}

Select this key and delete the value LowerFilters

then,
Go to the key :

Code: Select all

HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlset/Control/Class/{6BDD1FC5-810F-11DO-BEC7-08002BE2092F}

- - Select this key and delete the value UpperFilters

the go to the key :

Code: Select all

HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlset/Control/Class/

Do a right click on it and search... enter value LVUSBSTA and click Next.

Everytime you find the value LowerFilters (only in sub key Control/Class/) , ( LowerFilters with value LVUSBSTA) , delete it.

Restart your computer and connect your controler and your trouble will be resolve.

I hope it's the problem....

hello maybe i didnt explain well enough earlier.
in that attachement on earleir posts of the preferenc eoptions window, when the DJ ontroller is attached it appears as selctable in that device window and then obviously you select DJ controller under MIDI drop down box.. if for instance the DJ controller wasnt connected in the device drop down box of that window it is empty so there for when the DJ controller is connected i know that mixvibes sees it, but it doesnt seem to connect wen these option are selected and the activate box is ticked.

i have no logitec web cam but i am using a sony vaio laptop that has a web cam on it, and windows vista?
