Download the update file. Unzip it. Click on install.exe and follow the setup instructions.

Thanks for all the help and I apologize for my lack of knowledge. Now that I have downloaded the update, how do I stop the "bing" sound? I still don't know how to get a config report.

I still have the Bing sound! Should I try unistalling & reinstall, or just get a different program? It did not do this when I first got it. It just started this. I'm just using a laptop with windows vista. I've been using this for almost a year.

what do you mean by bing sound is it a continuous high pitched note ?

Are you using 3DEX with a U46Mk2 in which case you should probaby update your driver to the latest 1.039 version.

You can download it here : http://www.esi-audiotechnik.com/downloa ... v1_039.zip

No i'm not using a U46Mk2. I'm just using my laptop. I get a "bing" sound when i select a song. I can click and drag tracks but I get a "bing" sound when I do. Very frustrating! I did dowload the 3DEX 6.363 update.

Yes. And it only does it with this program. If i go in and turn off all sounds in the computer it changes from a bing to a buzz.

which version of VISTA do you own ?

when exactly does the problem occur ? when you click on your mediabase, when you select a track ? when you drop it on the player ?

I remember having this problem in version 6, I'm pretty sure the update fixed that though.

Do you have other processes in 'focus'? Do you have the MV window set to always being on top?
