Hello guys, I have Mixvibes DVS 7.010 version and last update for U46DJ Soundcard 1.039. I tried with soundcard version 1.034 but the same problem. I have signal, calibration ok, and all working..only sound sometimes like goin' little bit down and up, like howling in some moments, slower-faster in some miliseconds.. You know like you mixing with normal vinils and when you move with hand record and she start goin' faster and is sound different to up or to down if you stop her little bit..so sound is like that on my mixvibes... So is hard mixing because speed sometimes is moved and fucked up therefore that. Is especialy hard if you are in the mix.. Latency is on 256, I tried with other ones but same situation, so probably is not problem in that.. I have HP 6720s core duo on (T2410) 2.0 mhz with 1 GB ram Do you know what could be a problem? I using Numark Cartridges CS-1, is maybe problem in cartridge? But I'm not sure..please help, thnx in advance.

Hello,
I think I have the same problem, actually, I haven't done much to get around it (still don't know the problem source), but I found that changing to Master Tempo, I can see the pitch button on mixvibes sometimes going crazy (up and down really fast) without me touching the decks.
Still tryin' to figure out if it is deck related as I changed homes recently so all the electrical stuff is different, I'm assuming I can have some sort of electrical fluctuation that can affect the decks themselves. Did you have some electrical changes recently?

Hello,
Although I haven't stated this problem before, I do feel the same symptoms. I have all the latest versions, and I feel the symptoms on two different PC's (one xp, one vista). Has I have no idea where the source is, I've been trying to isolate it to state the problem later on, but as this is going under discussion, I can help with all I've tested so far. I'm thinking of hanging my decks on a UPS just for test sake, maybe I'll do it today or tomorrow.
Anyway, Mary, can you check if your Master Tempo mode gives the same symptoms as mine? Change to Master Tempo, check if the pitch button on the PC moves erraticaly instead of smooth movements like on the decks. My pitch button on the PC sometimes moves by itself (like it tilts and gets back to the same position), and moves erraticaly when I'm shifting my physical pitch on the decks.
polocorp: I forgot a bit about this, as I've been playing with the CDJ's lately. I think Absolute is mostly the problem, on relative it is much more stable, as I remember, will test again and notify here.

Hello,
Glad to know it seems to be working for you now. For the mode, that's up to you, for instance, with absolute you won't be able to use loops.
