Problem with external mixer

Postby FredrikH on 04 Jul 2008, 16:29

I have just reinstalled MixVibes DVS and I cant get my external mixer to work. I also noticed that under "Options" sound tab, there is nothing about mixer, there should be a way to select mixer I think? When I look in the manual bothe Multichannel, Asio and Kernel settings display a mixer selection option. Why dont I have that?

best reagrds,

What soundcard are you using? Did you reinstall its driver too?

Hi,

Im using Maya 44 soundcard and yes the drivers are reinstalled for it and it seems to be working fine. I chenged the setting a little now and I have managed to get one channel to work but both players end up in the same mixer channel. What can be the reason for that?

Change the output number of the right player. Left click on the output number to change it.

the players use each a audio channel, on the skin click on the right channel on the channel number right click increase right click decrease channel number. If audio otions are ok then it's the solution.

I have simillar question.
I can't switch output from 1 to 2.
I've got Sound blaster Live! 24bit external sound card and analog mixer ( Numark DM1050).
I've tried with newest drivers ( and without them too ;) ) .
I've tried to make my mixer work with another program ( but I dont like that program ;) ) and it worked properly.
In MixVibes configuration i have "device number" set on "2 (quad)".
I/ve checked speaker settings in creative and windows software.

That configuration ( mixvibes+analog mixer+SB) was working before reinstalling system.

I'm just out of ideas... help...
