Cover Managment: Does it work with ID3tags?

Hi,

I got tested the MV 7 demo and I really like the possibility to use covers. But I was only able to see a cover in the mediaview, if I add one over MV. The ID3 tag covers work in other application.

Is there any limitation in the demo mode or does it even work?

Hm, I tried it different.
The cover view (mediabase) doesn't show me the saved covers in my mp3 files. Only if I choose one in mixvibes options of the file.

So I wanted to know, if this is a demo limitation or even it doesn work with ID3tags.

Hopefully it's better to understand.

we actually took the option out for this version because it was a nuisance to the stability. We hired a new developper to work on video and media cover management and it will be entirely fixed in the next (free) update.

So if I understand you correctly, it's enough to add the covers to all my 6000 Files and I don't have to add them into Mixvibes again... It will be possible to read them from the ID3 Tags on a later stage. Thats goood news!!! Thank you!

Hi MV Team. Thank you for the great update!!! MV is getting better each release. Are there any News about the New Mediabase and Cover View? It's already a while since the last information. I love the Mediabase in Cross, but i love the features and the look of Producer, so I won't switch. But the Mediabase of Cross in Producer would rock!
