Neuer Vfx Controller, linker Jog Wheel funktioniert nicht ?

Hallo,
ich habe seit gestern den Mixvibes Vfx Controller.
Leider scheint das Gerät defekt zu sein !
Das Jog Wheel auf der linken Seite funktioniert nicht. Egal ob aktiviert oder nicht, man kann das linke Jog Wheel nicht nutzen. Daher vermute ich, dass das Gerät defekt ist bzw. gibt es noch andere Möglichkeiten, warum das Teil nicht geht ???

ok, i will try it...sorry my English is not the best ;-)

i got the Vfx Control DJ & VJ Controller yesterday.
After I install the software, I noticed
a Problem with the Jog Wheel on the left Side !!
it is activated but does not work (no scratching and beat matching possible).

Maybe the device is broken or an simple Setting error ?

Any help is welcome... Thx

surprised you found a Vfx controller and software ,,give info to your computer set up ,,and also what version of software you are running .
sorry too say the Vfx software was/is old ,,and had many issues ,,some users got it to rungood others had various issues ,,and mixvibes moved to the software of Cross DJ and Cross , some user migrated to Cross and useing the controller with that software,,with better sucess. try the Cross demo ,to get the feel of the newer/supported software when you get a chance,,if intrested to run vids ,,think along the lines of getting Cross

:-( okey, just want to use it for DJing. I just downloaded Cross DJ Free 3.2.4 right now and try it later, when i'm back at Home.

Do you think it is a software problem ??
it is only the jog wheel on the left that does not work !

use the demo ,,full featured but time constraint ,,free is just software no MIDI options ,,
could be as simple as a MIDI file setting oras complicated as a software failure ,,not familiar with the software or hardware set up ,,but info on the things you have tried to do to get it resolved will help with trouble shooting

i use Records since 1994 ! this Digital Sh...t makes me crazy... Since I'm trying to work with it (LOL)
Found this Mixvibes Vfx Controller for around 60 USD in a Music Store some Days ago...

definitely that's a good find !!
but if I do not get the problem fixed... i will bring it back to the store ! 36 months return policy

Please be aware that design originated from XP era.

If you use new hardware there is a fair chance it will work (providing no hardware issue).

Be sure to use a USB 2 port (or lower ). Preferably use controller with it's power supply (pretty sure it has one). Else make sure you have sufficient power available via the USB port, or alternatively use a power USB hub.

AS mentioned by Daniel using Cross Demo is the way to determine if it will work. Make sure to select the controller in Preferences > MIDI section.
