MIDI Mapping Vfx Control in Cross 3.0

Hi Dan & Rojec,
I don't even want to think about the beginning of the journey...lol...although I had great expectations every time I booted up the old Vfx software. I still miss some of the things the old Vfx had like the 'milkdrop' visuals and some of the cool effects...but stability is so much more important now with Cross 3.0. RoJec says in the above post that I should upgrade to 3.1 but having too much fun with 3.0
Has 3.1 been fully tested or do u think I should wait until 3.2 or ?? rolls out? I don't want to break a good thing.
If I do upgrade to a newer version, do u know if it is a straight install over the top of 3.0 or do u have to un-install 3.0 first?

Good , the update to 3.1 can run along side of 3.0 meaning its a separate install ,, meaning you can test run 3.1 to get use to it ,,not much difference between the two ,, thinking MIDI commands haven't changed ,, using a ver 3.0 created by fig for my controller and still has functionality ,, so don't see any negitives ,, plus some added visuals effects ,,I think ,, but get more info on that ,

3.1 is a stability release, with some minor changes/improvements (you'll have to check the change log in download for which).
Way more topics on 3.0 than 3.1.

Does Cross 3.0 record video & audio at the same time? I am looking to do a voice-over video presentation and have it record to mp4. Is there a post/topic or manual on this? I will start a new post on the subject if need be. Thanks in advance..

Hello Guys,

I'm using Vfx Control on Cross 3.3.10 the controller is working perfect but the only issue I'm facing Is I cant hear cue on my headphones that are plugged In the controller.
Can anyone support me ?

Hi. Pleas create a new topic. Sound is not related to MIDI.

You have to make sure that your sound settings are correct. Then perhaps look at MIDI because if the cue control is not mapped correctly then you will never be able to turn the headphones on.
