Saludos, I'm new to Cross DJ and while playing music sometimes the songs start right at the beginning and sometimes a little bit further into. I am using version 3.3.10. Can anyone explain how to keep the software from doing that? I did look into preferences for a solution but no luck, also went through the user manual looking from an answer. Thanks

when the track is loaded ,,the anyalise algorithim picks the first downbeat,, hate to say the only workaround is to shift the cue point manualy ,, that cue point will stay with the track from then on,,

Thanks Daniel that's what I thought. Every software has their pros and cons. Coming of virtual DJ 8 which has the option on settings I found that strange on Cross DJ, however I found Cross DJ to be more stable than vdj8 which last time I used on my regular gig Wednesday night it went into not responding mode on both of my laptops running their last version 2378. Thanks again.

Hi Daniel -

I'm a very new user to MixVibes (installed last night). I've been using MIXXX for the last year.

I'm very pleased with the stability of the Cross LE software I'm using and also experiencing the same issue with the tracks starting further into the song.

Is there a key stroke that will take the cursor to the very beginning?

Also, can you direct me to the best YouTube videos for new users please?

Welcome to MixVibes.
There aren't instruction videos. However the manual has a lot of info.

Cross always sets the cue to the first downbeat. If you want it different you can move the track to your wanted cue point.
While playing use shift C.
While paused use C or click Cue.

With Quantize enabled Cross sets the new cue with the set Quantize value accuracy.

The new cue is saved with the track.
