Cross LE at start of program gets info of the OS which controllers are present.

New added controllers sometimes take some more time to get recognized by the OS. As most controllers are class compliant this means the install info first will be transferred before install starts.

Simple things to do:
- reboot.
- always use same usb port as in most cases the install is port specific.
- if this doesn't work: use other usb port. Wait till hardware install completes and then start Cross. ( if for whatever reason a previous hardware install has issues this usually fixes it)

Audio dropouts? Increase audio 'buffer size' value.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

You could check the manufacturer to check if they have new driver/firmware.
What USB trouble shooting do you mean? Just plugging it into another USB port should reset the installation.

If you install at an other machine, don't forget to uninstall Cross LE afterwards as you're entitled to 2 installs only.

Not sure if the LE version has a MIDI tab in preferences, but if it does, can you see the tap flashing green when you use a control?
