lol no hurry mate, out shopping for a MIDI controller tomorrow, I got 2 denon dns1200s, a Pioneer mixer, focus right sound card, akai apc20 and Live, I got mix vibes purely because I have a web radio show in the pipe line and i want to add some nice live visuals to it, prerecording it feels like cheating Any recommendations? btw - to quote a classic, dirty cash i need you,,, so nothing over the £300 bracket, these days,at the tender age of 43 and having been doing, DJing, lightjokeying and sound engineering professionally around the London scene for over 12 years it's just a hobby, music is my drug of choice! cheers mate Maz

live web radio set ups posts will come in handy, but i don't think I'll go down the time control route, had traktor scratch for a few years, never once used it in a club, but in my humbles with the DJ controllers on the market today I don't need the extra.. my cd players and turntables are there for playing cds and vinyls nowdays, oh and btw I got an American Audio VMS 4.1.. just unwrapping it now.. happy birthmas to me.
toodles!

Have a look at the Hercules range of controllers.... Most of their controllers have built in sound cards. They're manufactured pretty good, have most of the features that expensive controllers have and all are straight forward to set up and use. I've been using the 4-MX with Cross for about 3 years now, out and about and have had no problems with it.

I ended up buying the American Audio VMS 4.1, purely because of the number of outputs, the fact it works perfectly with Traktor, but I suspect it needs an update for Cross DJ, the play, cue, pitch faders and jog wheels work fine when i select it in the preferences section, but the sync buttons don't...
