Recommendations on recording?

my thought was that the cue section of Cross was some how affecting the output level going to your speaker system ,, the high output/clipping you hear ,, ,,what is stopping you from switching them

heck make a recording with the levels the correct way , track up fader keeping the led at yellow the limiter on and the master outlevel at 80/90% .. does the cue volume in the gui affect what you are hearing in your headphones ,, (no ) does it affect the signal you are recieving to your speaker set up (yes ) ,

if you have you audio routing set the way it is the the cue knob on the gui is now the master and the master knob is now the cue ,,if the settings on the screen shot of the gui is how you run/rec ,,then the rec level will be low ,, since the cue is barly on and the master is at full and sending a full signal to your heaphones and the cue knob (controling the master out) (also controlling the rec level)is set low

Could you please start a new post on your issue and tell what it is you're having. This post pretty handles all kind of things.

Adding screen captures of your Cross interface and the audio tab are helpfull. Also which OS and the version of Cross would be good to know.
