Thanks. Ill give it a try today. Should one uninstall the previous version if Cross before installing a new release. Should i be deleting any other files for a new install?

I really hope that this works. I have a gig Friday and Sunday.

Cross versions install side by side; the settings file and collections are shared (mostly).

If you get Asio4All working with the UMCP2 could you let me know the steps? Daniel Clark and I couldn't get it to work - no U-Mix would appear in the drop down within the setup screens.

Hi, Just an update. :)
I'm running Cross 3.3.10 (64Bit) for a couple of weeks now.
I'm still using ASIO-4-All and not the Mixvibes U-Mix Control sound drivers.
So far, touch wood! No crash or start-up failures. :!:
I have played several gigs and I'm very satisfied with whatever the developers have done to resolve this issue I had.
I'm even getting brave and started the visual effects and that seems to work perfectly well. I have had one or two sticky moments, but for the better part of it all, it is fantastic.

Great Job Guys! Keep it up!
Thank You!

hey everyone, looks like I'm late to the party, but Im running 3.3.11 and having these same issues now. Problem seems to have popped up randomly, no new updates to the computer or anything. I usually run an American Audio VMS4.1 with their ASIO driver, or occasionally an old Vestax Spin with ASIO4ALL. Never had a problem, but now I can't even get Cross to start, even without a controller connected. I copy and pasted the error information below. I also (rarely) get a similar one where the "fault module" is something called "StackHash_7fa5". This is also 64 bit, Windows 7. 12GB ram with i5 processor. THANKS!

If Cross doesn't start, or just a splash of the start up screen, you best try to MANUALLY remove your mixvibes.settings file in

c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mixvibes\ folder

reinstalling Cross won't be of use.

Only use the 32bit version to avoid interference of 64bit issues.
Once this works properly you can try 64bit.
