Cross DJ won't grant me access to my external drive

I have a segate external drive and Cross DJ will not allow me access to the music on it. When i click to grant access it gives me the following message:

Can't load track: This file access is restricted (OSX-sandbox limitations), you first have to resolve access by selecting one of its parent folder.

This is very frustrating. Please help me to resolve this problem or refund my money for the app. Your forum is not helpful and it would be nice if there was some sort of human tech support

O KAY in meaning not helpful as is in you searching the fourm for related problems as to see if a solution was found ,, have you tried the search function ,,,,
if this is the app ,,have you looked in the app section ,,
to be of any assistance will need a bit more info as to your set up and related hardware information ,,this will help in figuring out what you have going on ,
meaning the app ,,this was purched thru the Apple store ,, if not and a Cross DJ software,,then please regerster the licence key in the fourm ,,for access to full benefits of the software,updates,firmware,drivers ,

For iPad using external disk is not possible. If I recall right this is a limitation of iTunes which is used by Cross as library.

Pretty sure that MAC is possible. (but i'm a win/android user, so others will have to assist if there is anything prohibiting this usage).
